The West Coast
of Canada, is located on the other side of the Rocky Mountains,
British Columbia, the westernmost province, and third largest in
Canada, is almost a separate country, and is proud of its 8,000
km. Land-locked. The British Columbia, offers an astonishing
variety of landscapes and climate. We find, perpetual snow
covering the peaks of mountain ranges parallel to the Rocky
Mountains, while along the border with the United States
Irrigation is necessary. The northern half of the province, is
almost uninhabited, and more than half the population is
concentrated around Vancouver, and another half a million in
Victoria and the southeastern tip of Vancouver Island.
